In the grand theatre of politics, where ambition often outweighs virtue, there emerges, from time to time, a rare soul whose pursuit of power is not for self-aggrandizement but for the upliftment of humanity. Chief (Dr) Samuel Ogbuku is such a man a philosopher in action, a statesman sculpted by sacrifice, and a servant molded by the will to serve the Niger Delta region.

At the heart of his development for the Niger Delta region lies a deep understanding of Plato’s vision of the philosopher-king, one who governs not for personal gain but because he sees clearly the difference between shadows and substance. Chief (Dr) Samuel Ogbuku sees the suffering of the masses not as statistics but as a moral imperative. He believes that justice, equity, and good governance are not privileges for the few but birthrights of the many.

He has walked the path of service long before now building educational institution, classrooms, granting scholarships, empowering the poor, building bridges, creating job opportunity for the people through Solar Street Lights and speaking truth to his critics with indelible projects. His mindset toward development and service delivery has changed the true lack of development earlier experienced in the region by portfolio contractors which has created another reorientation of mind toward factual development in the Niger Delta region.

He does not seek office to become a leader; he is already a leader seeking a platform to deepen his impact for the people of the Niger Delta region.

In a world in desperate need of moral courage, Chief (Dr) Samuel Ogbuku stands as a beacon unshaken, unwavering, and deeply committed to rural transformation. Bayelsa and the entire Niger Delta region, the time has come to elevate wisdom for an aggressive infrastructural development, not just wealth for self and very few individuals but for the general well-being in the region. Support Chief (Dr) Samuel Ogbuku, MD/CEO, NDDC. A rear man indeed!
