Dr. Doodei Week is widely respected within and outside his environment as an agricultural economist, consultant and management professional, but what truly defines him is his deep love for people. He is a progressive philanthropist who is always seeking ways to make life better for those around him his community, Niger Delta region and beyond.

The passion for service gave rise to the birth of his present position in  Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) with his noble foundation which has over the years engaged his humanitarian gestures like empowering women with skills, appointment facilitation and support, to paying JAMB fees for indigent students, to providing scholarships and covering school fees for children from struggling families, he has shown that true leadership begins with compassion for the less privilege ones. He made all these remarkable impact before as Honourable Commissioner in Bayelsa State, the Jerusalem of Ijaw Nation.

For Dr. Doodei Week, progress is more of actions, practical solutions to human issues, and compassion to the vulnerable in the larger society where he belongs till eternity.

His vision is to build thriving communities where everyone has access to education, skills development and opportunities for personal and professional growth for self sustainance in life.

As a solution provider all time, his legicon is full with human development by providing for the needy which was a thought he conceived and built right from his childhood. Today, what was unbelievable to many in the past stand's as testimony to them and every hand clap toward his direction.

It is scriptural, the compassion of Christ faileth not to those who believe in Him, so likewise to those in society with good thought toward Dr. Doodei Week.
