Dr. Samuel Ogbuku's mission on education in the Niger Delta region is centered on empowering the youth and fostering a culture of learning and development. As the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Ogbuku has made education a top priority, recognizing its transformative power in shaping the region's future. Under his leadership, the NDDC has implemented various initiatives aimed at improving access to quality education and promoting academic excellence.

One of the key initiatives is the NDDC Foreign Post-Graduate Scholarship Programme, which has benefited 2,700 students. This program is a testament to Dr. Ogbuku's commitment to equipping the region's youth with the knowledge and skills needed to drive development. Additionally, the NDDC has rehabilitated many schools and distributed educational materials to foster learning and equip younger generations with skills and knowledge to drive the region's future.

Dr. Ogbuku believes that legal advocacy on issues affecting the region is essential for driving its development. To this end, the NDDC has sponsored moot and mock trial competitions, providing a platform for regional students to become successful legal practitioners. This initiative demonstrates Dr. Ogbuku's commitment to supporting the growth of education in the region
