The Niger Delta Progress-Reporters heartily congratulates Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on his well-deserved nomination for the Distinguished Award for Excellence in Infrastructure Delivery and Sustainable Regional Growth at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS).

This remarkable honour, endorsed by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and slated to be presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, stands as a resounding affirmation of Dr. Ogbuku’s visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and transformative impact on the Niger Delta region. His strategic approach to infrastructure development, his commitment to fairness, and his relentless pursuit of sustainable growth have elevated the NDDC into an institution that truly reflects the aspirations of the people it serves.

Under Dr. Ogbuku’s stewardship, the Niger Delta has witnessed a renewed sense of purpose, improved trust in public institutions, and a visible acceleration of development initiatives that touch directly on the lives of communities across the region.
