Through Project HOPE, the Commission established a comprehensive database designed to structure youth engagement and align skills development with employment opportunities. His administration also advanced digital inclusion by distributing 45,000 U-Lesson tablets to schoolchildren and sponsoring the Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2025, where 5,000 young entrepreneurs received training in artificial intelligence, coding, and agricultural technology. In parallel, the reactivation and expansion of local and international scholarship schemes addressed skills gaps and strengthened the region’s professional workforce.

Beyond social investment, Dr. Ogbuku has been instrumental in steering the Niger Delta toward economic diversification. By promoting agriculture and aquaculture, his administration sought to revive traditional livelihoods and reduce overdependence on the oil sector. This strategy not only broadened the region’s economic base but also aligned development planning with environmental sustainability and food security objectives.
