The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, His Excellency Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, alongside the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, and the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Hon. Alabo Boma Iyaye, has commissioned two landmark projects executed by the NDDC in Ogu Kingdom, Rivers State, underscoring the Commission’s renewed commitment to sustainable development in the Niger Delta region.

The commissioned projects include the 9.450-kilometre rigid pavement Ogu internal road network and the 1,500-seater capacity NDDC Royal Hall, both strategically conceived and delivered as part of the Commission’s integrated development agenda. These initiatives reflect a deliberate effort by the NDDC under the leadership of Dr. Samuel Ogbuku to address critical infrastructure needs while fostering inclusive growth across host communities.

The Ogu internal road network is expected to significantly enhance mobility, ease the movement of goods and services, and stimulate economic activities within the kingdom and its adjoining communities.
