Education and youth empowerment are pivotal to Dr. Ogbuku's vision for the Niger Delta, with the NDDC's Foreign Post-Graduate Scholarship Programme benefiting 2,323 students. These initiatives aim to improve healthcare outcomes and empower the youth in the region.
The commission has adopted an Early Warning System (EWS) to boost peace and development in the Niger Delta, aligning with the Federal Government's Renewed Hope Agenda for stability and sustainable development. This proactive strategy aims to address and prevent conflicts in the region, promoting peace and stability.

This collaboration aims to address security challenges and promote sustainable development.
The partnership between the NDDC and the Nigerian Navy aims to strengthen security operations, enhance maritime surveillance, and improve operational responses to combat illegal activities in the region's waterways.
